NEW-MEMBER ORIENTATION
Interested in becoming a member of AGUILAS? Everything you need to know will be covered off during a 1:1 new-member orientation.
This hourlong welcome session give participants a brief overview of the services offered. Orientation facilitators will also be happy to
answer any questions you have.
PREVENTION WITH POSITIVES [GROUPS IN ENGLISH + SPANISH + PORTUGUESE]
Prevention with Positives, conducted separately in Spanish, English and Portuguese, meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6 p.m.
These groups provide a confidential, safe space to discuss issues that impact those living with HIV/AIDS.
MONTHLY AGUILAS GROUPS [GROUPS IN ENGLISH + SPANISH + PORTUGUESE]
These monthly groups, held on the 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of every month respectively, are for members who speak English (or Portuguese) as their primary language. Discussion topics range from sex, sexuality and wellness to family, politics and current events that impact us as gay/bisexual Latinos.
NOTE: All groups are facilitated by trained professionals who are also part of the GBTQ Latino/x community.

FREE HIV AND STI TESTING
AGUILAS provides referrals for fast, free, and confidential HIV and STI testing and health screening services. Please call (415) 558-8403 or (415) 554-9134. Walk-in appointments are also available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at various sites throughout SF County. Please visit https://www.sfhiv.org/testing_locations.php.
FREE ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING [IN SPANISH + ENGLISH + PORTUGUESE]
Do you have questions about your life, family issues, friendships or relationships? Want to learn more about sex, intimacy or issues related to HIV or sexual health? AGUILAS offers confidential one-on-one and couples support within a safe, multicultural space. If you’re experiencing issues related to depression, anxiety, loss, grief, abuse or something else, we can help. No charge, no waiting.
